Jonathan Gates is a Sheridan County native who grew up attending local schools and spent his life embracing the community lifestyle that embodies the rural western livestock culture and enjoyment of the Bighorn Mountains. Jonathan grew up and lives in the mountain community of Story with the Bighorn Mountains at his front door. Apart from attending and graduating from the University of Wyoming with a master's degree in Applied Economics, Jonathan has been a lifelong resident of Sheridan County and has developed a wide array of business contacts and friendships throughout the community. Jonathan's professional background includes regulatory management, natural resource development, and project/construction management in the fields of engineering and energy development throughout Wyoming. Jonathan is vested in the Sheridan County Community and spends his time enjoying the Bighorn Mountains, taking part in local community events, and helping to make the Sheridan area continue to be one of the best places for anyone to call home.
