Shanel Effertz came to Minot as a military spouse over 20 years ago. Shanel started a home based business and quickly rose to the top ranks of that nationwide and international company before deciding to make a change so that she could spend more time with her family. Shanel is active in fundraising for non-profit organizations, charity drives, and her church. She is a huge fan of both college and professional football and loves attending local sporting events with her family. Shanel and her husband, Chad, have 8 children. Shanel and Chad spend their time golfing, fishing and boating on Lake Sakakawea.
