Charmaine Eggett is a dynamic, hard-working and enthusiastic Broker/Realtor at Century 21 North Homes Realty on Whidbey Island, Washington. She is also a United States Marine Corps Veteran. She was the born in Duquesne, PA and graduated from Duquesne Senior High School. Thinking she was applying for a secretarial position at the local Marine Corps recruiting office, the Recruiter had a different agenda and told her about the Marines! Being only 17 years old, it sounded exciting, so she decided to enlist. After serving for 20 years and achieving the rank of Master Sergeant (E-8), Charmaine decided to retire in 1994 and, at the suggestion of a friend, moved to Whidbey Island, Washington. She fell in love with it and has been here ever since. She met her current husband, Gordy, at Family Bible Church in Oak Harbor. Gordy is a retired Navy Senior Chief who worked as an Aviation Ordinanceman. Charmaine has four adult biological children and two children that she and Gordy adopted. Charmaine decided to have a career in Real Estate because she knew it was a job she could have for the rest of her life, knowing she didn't want to just sit at home. She earned the Military Relocation Professional (MRP) Certification because she wants to be there for other Military families and veterans to help them navigate their own moves and to help them get settled into their new homes and neighborhoods. Charmaine understands the challenges they face and wants them to know that they can count on her to assist them in every way possible. Since the Marine Corps gave her so much throughout her career Charmaine would like to give back to our Military members in every way possible. Aside from Whidbey Island, Charmaine also covers Anacortes, Mt. Vernon and Burlington.
