Victor Martinez
Ventura County has always been more than a place to me?it's home, the backdrop of cherished memories, and the foundation of my personal and professional journey. From exploring Camarillo's rolling hills and body surfing along the coast to sharing in the spirit of community events, this region has shaped the values that continue to guide my life and work.
My work ethic took root early. At just eleven, I spent weekends and summers pruning lemon trees in local orchards, learning the value of discipline, perseverance, and pride in a job well done. At Camarillo High, I discovered a passion for learning that led me to earn California State Certificates in Sheet Metal and HVAC Technology. Those accomplishments opened doors to managing major mechanical divisions for large-scale construction projects?including hospitals, schools, military facilities, the LAX Control Tower, and the LA County Jail?where I developed a deep appreciation for teamwork, accountability, and craftsmanship.
Believing strongly in lifelong learning, I went on to earn Dual bachelor's degrees in labor studies and labor science from the University of Maryland and pursued advanced studies at The Ohio State University. My career evolved into education and mentorship as an Apprenticeship Administrator on the Central Coast, where I trained and inspired the next generation of skilled professionals. Serving as Chair for the Santa Barbara Workforce Investment and Ventura County School-to-Career Boards further allowed me to strengthen local workforce development and create meaningful career pathways.
Ultimately, my journey led to real estate?a profession that perfectly aligns with my dedication to service, community, and connection. As part of Century 21 Masters Realty, I take pride in helping families across Southern California achieve their real estate goals while building lasting relationships rooted in trust and integrity.
Guided by the values my parents instilled?integrity, hard work, and compassion?I continue to give back through the PV/Camarillo Lions Club, where I've served as Club President, District Marketing Chair, and Zone Chair. Through leadership, mentorship, and community outreach, I remain committed to empowering others and leaving a legacy of service, resilience, and positive impact.
