I am a lifelong resident of Franklin County. My wife Jennifer works at the Region 8 Education Service Center. We have 4 kids combined. My daughter Amy Bresnen and her husband Steve live in Austin, Texas. Andrew Solomon and his wife Kali Rogers live in West Hollywood, California. Jacob Lambie is graduating college this summer and pursuing his master while living with us at the lake. Daniel Lambie is pursuing a degree in nursing and lives in Tyler, Texas. After owning businesses in both Mt. Vernon and Mt. Pleasant I returned to school in an effort to pursue a life long love of coaching football and teaching. I worked one year at Mt. Pleasant ISD, 4 years at Commerce ISD, 20 years at Mt. Vernon ISD, and the last 3 years at Como Pickton CISD. I retired at the end of the 2022 school year. My father Neal Solomon and uncle Hermon Connelly started Mt. Vernon Insurance and Real Estate in the 60’s. My father, a State Representative at the time, began work and was instrumental on passing the legislation to build Lake Cypress Springs. Hoping it is never too late to follow in your father’s footsteps I have decided to make real estate my last career. I cannot think of a better place to do that than with Century 21 Butler Real Estate.
