Kalina Clewell
I was born and raised in Brookings and have had the incredible fortune of being able to explore some of the most beautiful places in the world right here on my doorstep. Growing up we would hike in and camp almost every weekend rain or shine. We had one destination in particular that we called “Our Special Spot.”
After high school I attended Trinity Western University in British Columbia. Like most kids I never intended to settle down in the town I was raised in yet somehow found myself drawn back to Brookings and happy to be raising my own family here. I really enjoy the days I get to spend soaking up the morning sun in the garden with my two wonderful dogs or playing an afternoon game of croquet with my family. I also love the days when I can cozy up to the fire and listen to the rain or put on my rubber boots and get out and enjoy one of our fabulous winter storms.
