Catarina Carneiro is a dedicated and compassionate REALTOR® with over five years of real estate experience, proudly serving clients across Union, Bergen, Essex, and Morris Counties. Fluent in Portuguese and Spanish, she brings a personal and inclusive approach to every transaction, helping a diverse range of buyers and sellers—from first-time homeowners to families starting over after life changes.
Before entering the real estate field, Catarina spent 23 years working as a private residential house manager, where she honed her skills in organization, attention to detail, and high-level client service, qualities that now serve her clients exceptionally well in real estate.
Catarina is certified in Short Sales and Foreclosures (SFR®) and is currently completing her Broker’s License to further enhance the level of service she provides. She has previously worked with Sotheby’s International Realty and PremiumOne Realty, building a reputation for reliability, care, and strong negotiation skills.
In addition to her real estate credentials, Catarina holds an Associate of Science degree from Union County College and is currently completing her Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Nutrition with a concentration in Food Systems and Sustainability at Montclair State University. She is also a New Jersey Notary Public.
A proud resident of Midland Park for the past six years, Catarina is deeply involved in the community. She is an active member of the PTA, volunteers with the Midland Park Performing Arts Parents, and supports Art Pop, a local group dedicated to teaching children about art and culture. Her youngest son attends Midland Park schools and has been a member of the Marching Band for several years. Her oldest son is currently pursuing a Culinary Certification at Bergen Community College.
As a single mother who has successfully navigated life’s challenges, Catarina brings empathy and real-world experience to her work. She is especially passionate about assisting first-time buyers, single parents, and those starting fresh, whether through a rental, starter home, or multi-family investment.
Born and raised in New Jersey, Catarina is a true “Jersey Girl” at heart. Her passions include real estate, her family, cooking, baking, nature, gardening, and giving back to the community. She is committed to helping others find not just a house, but a place they can truly call home.
