My name is Chrystal Dove and I am a REALTOR® licensed in Maryland and Pennsylvania. Born and raised in Calvert County, I have been a full-time agent for 9 years. Although we lived away from the region for a short time, I knew that I wanted to raise my children here and returned to the area as quickly as I could. Southern Maryland truly offers something for all its residents; you can live close to the city but still get a very small-town feel, reflected in the many activities and programs offered all year long. The summer, however, is the best time to be a Southern Marylander! Calvert County puts a lot of emphasis on buying local and hosts multiple farmers markets, most notably in North Beach and now in Dunkirk. Many local farmers sell produce, meat, and flowers and other small businesses partake in the events! The Calvert Marine Museum in southern Calvert is another great spot for families, and of course you have access to great shopping from one end of the county to the other! Calvert County, and Southern Maryland in general, have housing markets which are growing at a phenomenal pace. Settling in this area is a great option for many because you are within an hour’s drive to the metropolitan DC and Baltimore areas but far enough out to get more value with your property choices. It is predicted that property values in this area will continue to climb, so there is little risk involved in making the investment now! In addition to my knowledge of the area, I am a relationship-based REALTOR®.
