Being a Lowcountry local for over thirty-two years, Carla has witnessed the tremendous change and growth that's transformed the area into one of the East Coast's most sought-after destinations. Carla's vast knowledge of the area and her creative, enthusiastic and caring nature is perfect for matching each client's desires as well as skillfully featuring a home's unique presence and character. Born and raised in the farmlands of Ohio and graduated with honors from the University of Akron, she escaped the long winters and began a career in the insurance industry when she first came to Hilton Head Island. She later worked extensively in the medical field and went on to excel in pathology laboratory sales covering South Carolina. An active volunteer history with the American Heart Association, led Carla to accepting the position of Development Director. She has grown the local chapter the past five years with her passion for the mission and has achieved national benchmarks for fundraising. During her son's Bluffton High School JROTC participation, she served as a Booster Club officer and helped with the numerous activities in the community. Before traveling in sales, she sang with the Praise Team at the Church of the Cross and hopes to one day have time to pursue music again as a hobby. You might have heard her voice on the radio in Ohio singing jingles in the eighties. Carla prides herself in her passion and heartfelt drive to serve her clients' best interest.
