Jennifer Thompson

As a home-grown Fairbanks girl, I have had the privilege of being a part of this community for many years. My favorite thing about Fairbanks is the people! We are known as the Golden Heart City because we are always there for each other! The people are what make this place home!

Having grown up in the back of a Super Cub, hunting and fishing with my dad has given me an appreciation for the great outdoors, a desire for adventure, and a love for nature. When I am not chasing the summer sun, I volunteer my time advocating for local businesses and supporting disaster relief efforts as a board member for the American Red Cross. I am a proud single mom of 2 very active teenagers, and I spend most of my time in the car as a teen taxi service.

I hold an associate degree in computer science from Charter College, a Bachelor of Science in communications from Franklin University, and a four-year accreditation in organizational management through the US Chamber of Commerce. I served as the 2022 chair of the Greater Fairbanks Chamber of Commerce and as a past director of marketing and communications for MAC Federal Credit Union. 

The last five years as a Realtor for Century 21 Gold Rush has been a joy to help clients buy and sell homes, thus changing their financial futures, building wealth, and making homeownership a reality!
