With nearly two decades of experience in Northern Nevada real estate, Michelle Barney is known for her deep roots in the community and her unwavering commitment to her clients. Licensed in 2006, she went on to earn her broker’s license in 2008 and her property management certification in 2010. Today, she proudly serves as the owner of Century 21 Prime, where she leads with integrity, experience, and a “clients for life” approach.




Michelle has weathered every shift in the real estate market—from the housing boom to foreclosures and short sales—and brings unmatched insight and resilience to every transaction. Based in Fernley since 1997, she is also a passionate community leader: Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce, Board Member for the Sierra Nevada Association of Realtors, Main Street Fernley, and a member of the Fernley Builders Association.




Outside of real estate, Michelle enjoys time with her large family, camping, volunteering and celebrating her daughter, a proud graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno. She lives in Fernley with her husband, who hails from Ely, Nevada.
