Linda Stegall is a native Floridian-born and she was raised in Miami, Florida. In 2013, her family moved to her husband’s hometown: the wonderful City of St. Augustine.
"Growing up in a city as large as Miami, I love this small but growing beach-town community," said Linda. "The Oldest City has so much to offer, with over 250 years of history, the beautiful architecture, grand historic homes, great restaurants, talented artist and musicians, pristine beaches, fishing and boating and my favorite Parades and Festivals."
In her first four years here, she lived downtown exploring, by foot and bike, all parts of the old city: Downtown, Uptown, Lincolnville and North City. She knows the downtown area and the streets extremely well.
Her first career, she was a cosmetologist - owning and operating her own beauty salon. Due to the chemicals affecting her health, she had to change careers and choose healthcare. She worked in the dental field, first assisting and then administrative (appointment and treatment coordinator, insurance and billing and office manager). Patients were the priority: putting their comfort and needs first. Communication, follow-through and listening are the key to carrying out these priorities.
Going to the dentist, for some people, is as scary an event as is buying or selling a home. To be your Realtor, Linda wants to provide that same service that she has been experienced in for years - listening to customer concerns and needs, keeping them informed and involved throughout the entire process and striving to get them the best possible results.
She obtained her Real Estate license in 2004 and, as you can imagine, she has seen many different events in the market. Unfortunately, she could not always work real estate as a full-time career, but she was able to improve her knowledge and experience over the first 15 years.
In December 2020, Linda stopped working at St. Johns Family Dentistry (a great office) and she has devoted herself full-time to real estate. She was most recently certified to represent buyers who are classified in the HOMETOWN HERO Grant program. Those persons who are teachers, health-care workers, first responders of all types (police, fire, medical, etc...), speech pathologists and many more qualify. Linda has the list, and she can get our LOCAL HEROS into a HOME.
