
Jason Tysdal
I was born in Spearfish, SD and moved with my family to the West Coast. We moved back to Spearfish in 1989 and I graduated from Spearfish High School and Black Hills State University. I then worked for the community of Spearfish as a Police Officer and a Detective at the Spearfish Police Department. My wife, Renae, and I raised our two children, who are now successful adults, in Spearfish. I obtained my real estate license and went to work with my parents at CENTURY 21 Spearfish Realty in 2004. I was chosen as the Realtor of the Year for my local Realtor board in 2013 and 2020. I was also chosen as the South Dakota State Realtor of the Year in 2020. I have previously served on the Spearfish Foundation for Public Education Board of Directors and the Black Hills State University Alumni Association Board of Directors. I currently serve as Past President of the Visit Spearfish Board of Directors, as a member of the Spearfish Lions Club, on the Mt. Rushmore Area Association of Realtors Board of Directors, Mt. Rushmore Area Association of Realtors MLS Chairman, South Dakota Realtors Board of Directors, SD Realtors Government Affairs Committee, SD Realtors Professional Standards Committee, and as a gubernatorial appointee on the South Dakota Real Estate Commission. I have owned CENTURY 21 Spearfish Realty since 2018 and have been awarded numerous awards for production. But I am most proud of are my Quality Service Awards for my commitment to my clients and my community!
