I have lived in the Washington area practically my entire life and never tire of seeing the monuments as I approach the city from Virginia which has been my home since 1975. I started my real estate career in new homes which gave me lots of training in all aspects of real estate, from the ground up. I have been working full time ever since and got my associate broker's license in 1988 and keep learning something new with every transaction. I also have the SRES designation, Senior Real Estate Specialist which means I am ready willing and able to help all those ready to update, downsize and move on! I have managed entire renovation projects for my sellers with great success. This is where my training in interior design leads the way. I have naturally added pre-listing consulting as well as staging into my practice. My goal is to optimize the home's potential so that it will shine when it is presented as a new listing. This is an important part of the marketing strategy. With buyers, my training assists me in pointing out the possibilities of each home that interests them so that certain objections do not become over emphasized and outweigh the good points. Another of my goals is to facilitate the entire transaction for my clients so that we have a smooth settlement and happy homeowners. After all these many years of experience, I enjoy the challenges of house hunting and listing all kinds of property all over Northern Virginia but I really appreciate that I manage to get wonderful people to work with as clients. That is a key to my success.
