
Fred Ebert
Fred was raised in Wisconsin, but moved around growing up in nearby Illinois and Michigan. After working and traveling, he was admitted to The University of Illinois, from which he earned a degree in Finance, graduating in 1977. Shortly after graduation, Fred moved to Breckenridge, CO in 1978 and started Ebert Appraisal Service. Fred has been an active member and continued education through the Appraisal Institute, celebrating 45 years.
Fred is currently semi-retired from appraisal, but keeps active part time as a Certified General appraiser specializing in income, development and commercial properties and offering consulting services.
He met my wife Mara Lee at Wine In the Pines in Keystone and were married in Breckenridge in 1994. They have 4 children, 3 in Colorado and one in Montana. Their free time is spent traveling, mountain and road biking, downhill and cross-country skiing as well as some water skiing, book clubs and other activities. They enjoy spending time with their 4 children, including hiking, biking, skiing and traveling.
Together they manage a number of properties throughout Summit County and have invested in Eagle, Park and Routt Counties as well as in Northern California in Sonoma, where they have a second home, and Napa. They also are active in remodeling and decorating along with buying and selling. They have also developed properties, built residential and commercial properties and stay active in all aspects of Real Estate.
Fred is in Year 46 in the Colorado Resort Areas and have much to offer clients with my appraisal background. He continues in appraisal mostly to keep up on the market in fine detail and study all sales, listings and opportunities as they present themselves in Summit and surrounding Counties.
