James Klein
Jim Klein started his real estate career as a REALTOR® with Klein Realty & Auction Co., a prominent real estate and auction company based in Remsen, Iowa. With a rich history spanning over six decades, the firm was initially established by Jim's father, Jim Sr., in 1954. Since then, Jim and his father have dedicated themselves to serving the Remsen and Northwest Iowa area for an impressive 69 years. Jim took ownership on July 1st, 1982. Recognizing the need to adapt to the ever-changing real estate market and provide enhanced services to his clients, Jim chose to join forces with CENTURY 21 ProLink, a leading real estate brokerage in Northwest Iowa. With the combined expertise of Klein Realty & Auction, now operating as Klein Team Realty & Auction, and CENTURY 21 ProLink, clients can expect a comprehensive range of real estate services backed by cutting-edge technology and an incredible support staff!
Together with his wife Sue, Jim takes great pride in their family, which includes their daughter Emily and their son Jon, along with his wife Megan and their three adorable grandsons: Chase, Lucas, and Easton.
Throughout his career as a realtor, Jim has found immense fulfillment in fulfilling his client's wishes, whether they are selling or buying properties. Additionally, the auction business has played a significant role in the firm's history, encompassing a diverse range of auctions, such as land, machinery, residential and commercial properties, antiques and collectibles, as well as firearms.
Through the establishment of the Iowa Auction Group, Jim and his team are equipped to effectively market properties through online-only or live simulcast auctions, providing clients with enhanced options and convenience.
