
Amy Rhude
Amy is a Colorado native, who knows how special Colorado is, and the value and benefits of raising a family here. Growing up on Colorado’s front range, her family frequently ventured to Chaffee County for camping and adventures. After graduating from the University of Northern Colorado in 1995 with a business management degree and marrying her college sweetheart, they chose to settle in Salida. Amy’s husband, Adam, was a raft guide and they loved this part of the State with all the year-round activities that it has to offer. She began working for a local insurance company, establishing local friendships and connections. After starting a family, she was able to stay home to raise their two daughters, while working to help build her husband’s log home construction business. When the time seemed right, she re-entered the workforce at the Cutler Law Office, LLC. She obtained her paralegal certificate and worked for a local attorney for 12 years. While working in the legal field, Amy found she truly enjoyed title searches for water rights and ensuring that property transfers were done correctly. In combination, her job experiences led her to pursue a career in real estate. Amy has a desire to learn all she can about all her professions. She is always willing to go the extra “mile” to make sure that everyone she encounters feels confident and informed. Amy has been an active community member in Salida for over twenty years. She has been involved in all levels of school activities and currently serves as the local Salida Booster Club Secretary. She is the current Regent for the local chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, an entity dedicated to preserving our local history and educating others. Amy and her family continue to enjoy Colorado to the fullest: recreation choices include skiing, ATV trips, hiking, cheering on all Colorado professional sports, enjoying music, visiting with friends, and just sitting by a creek enjoying the peacefulness of nature.
