I spent years early in my career in the banking industry, and I believe that is what drew me to my career in real estate. Every day I worked with people, helping them with their financial decisions and making recommendations that would fit their needs according to their circumstances. It is during this period that I realized how much I enjoyed helping people. I've helped people in the same way in my real estate career. I listen to people, talk to them about their wants and needs, and we work together to make their dreams and goals a reality.
I started in real estate in 1976 as a sales agent listing and selling homes. After taking real estate law classes and sitting through many closings, I was asked to also become the Closing Officer/Manager at our office. I prepared closing documents and closed/disbursed transactions, as well as trained our agents. In 1988 I received my broker's license and in 1995, I purchased Century 21 from Nancy Keith and changed the name of the company to Century 21 Riverpointe, and in 2023 I turned ownership of the company to my daughters, Trista Cortis-Redfield and Tashia Redfield McEady.
I have enjoyed a great career in this industry, and I take pride in helping our agents and our clients achieve their goals.
