Justin Tanner is a fun-loving father of two, a husband, and a Colorado Native. After graduating from the University of Colorado Boulder he earned his license in massage therapy and opened Soft Tissue Therapeutics in Colorado Springs, Colorado. During this time he met his wife Melissa who is a Salida Colorado native. After discussing Salida and the surrounding area with her, it didn’t take long for him to begin his journey to the Heart of the Rockies. Once he arrived, he purchased a Mountain Man Nut and Fruit Company franchise including the areas of Salida, Poncha Springs, Buena Vista, Leadville, Westcliffe, and all points between. For the next 20 years, Justin would drive to these areas selling chocolates and snacks to the smiling faces of the community and forming an everlasting bond with the local residents by gaining their trust. Driving to these communities every day gave Justin the opportunity to learn about the region they call home. Justin is recognized around the area for his friendly demeanor, outgoing charisma, and notable sales record, but most of all his desire to leave his clients feeling satisfied and happy. Justin enjoys playing golf, hiking the numerous trails located in the Salida Mountain Trails system, and playing disc golf with his kids. He’s a proud supporter of Starpoint and the Alliance Against Domestic Abuse and takes much pride in himself and the community who welcomed him here over 20 years ago.
