This 1038-hectare farm is positioned within Selati Private Game Reserve, amongst stunning granite rocky outcrops. Selati Private Game Reserve features the big 5 and bountiful plains game; including Sable, Eland and Sharpe’s Grysbok; with traversing over 28 000 hectares.

The farm includes the following infrastructure:

Large farmhouse set in a beautiful garden with pool, boma, large boulders and big trees. The boma/ braai area is set amongst the koppies and is a lovely area for a family braai.

The Farm house comprises lounge, patio, large kitchen, entrance hall and 4 -en suite bedrooms. The bedrooms all have air-con, ceiling fans and patios. The bathrooms comprise bath, toilet, basin and shower.

A path leads down to a separate area with 2 cottages providing additional accommodation. The cottages are both en-suite. A viewing deck with kitchen area looks out onto a waterhole and the bushveld surrounds.

There is a strong borehole on the property, that has been operational for 35 years; as well as a second one to the North which feeds a waterhole and is run on solar.

A shed and storeroom provide additional space for storage of farm equipment.

The main attraction of this farm is the excellent traversing and stunning koppie and bushveld views. The area is stunning with some low-lying areas featuring trees such as Leadwood, Weeping Boerbean, False Maroela and Knobthorn. Beautiful Wild Figs are found in the rocky outcrop areas, while the higher ground provides Red Bushwillow and beautiful views over Selati. The property also has a number of dams and a 1265m runway for added convenience, on the neighbour’s property which can be used.

Management of the reserve is by way of a constitution. The vision and purpose of Selati Private Game Reserve is to create an enduring legacy by conserving and enhancing the biodiversity of the ecosystem through the astute and sustainable management of resources. The reserve was initially comprised of cattle farms. In time the reserve was formed and game was introduced. Over the years game breeding and sales were encouraged and a focus; but there is a move now to commercial lodge activity and preservation of games species and the natural environment. Game numbers are managed through and annual aerial game count and recommendations by the Agricultural Research Council- Animal production institute.
