Born in Ecuador, Ivonne Reyes moved to Barcelona, Spain when she was 2-years old. Ivonne spent her whole childhood in Spain before moving to the United States. Ivonne embraces both her Ecuadorian and Spanish cultures and is fluent in Spanish and English. She has a B.A. in Translation and is able to translate from Spanish to English, and vice versa. This valuable skill gives Ivonne the advantage of being able to comfortably work and communicate with clientele from different cultural backgrounds.
With her background as an Assistant Branch Manager in the banking/financial industry, Ivonne has gained valuable customer service and communication skills which will enable her to advise and guide her clients throughout the real estate process. Ivonne prides herself on her strong work ethic, communication skills and outgoing, caring personality and looks forward to bringing that same passion, dedication, integrity and commitment to her real estate career.
Ivonne's inspiration to embark on a real estate career was wanting to make a difference in the lives of others. As a recent first-time homebuyer, Ivonne unfortunately did not have an enjoyable, comforting experience with her home-buying journey. Throughout the process she felt confused, lost and helpless. Her agent did not provide her with the attention she needed as a first-time homebuyer resulting in an unsatisfactory experience. It was then that Ivonne decided to pursue a real estate career. With her personal and professional attributes, she knew it would be a good fit for her because she is committed to making her clients feel comfortable with the process and confident in their choice of an agent. Interacting with customers is Ivonne's passion.
In her spare time, Ivonne enjoys spending time with her husband and family. She enjoys being outdoors attending family and community events. Being together as a family is what fulfills her. The second thing Ivonne loves doing is to “DIY” her home.
Ivonne's real estate career began through an amazing real estate licensing scholarship program offered through Century 21's Empowering Latinas program. After receiving her license, representatives of Century 21 reached out and showed her what the company is all about. They sold her on the Century 21 team by being kind, supportive, thoughtful, respectful and helpful. She was impressed with how Century 21 treats you like family, not just a co-worker. It made her excited to join our team.
Ivonne prides herself as being a “people person,” interacting with and helping customers is what truly makes her happy. She looks forward to forming new relationships while guiding and assisting home buyers and sellers with their real estate needs and is committed to providing exceptional customer service.
