Mary Stansell

I’ve proudly called the south Oregon Coast home for over 35 years and have been serving clients with Century 21 Agate Realty since 2001. Throughout my career, I’ve been honored to receive multiple Centurion Producer Awards, reflecting my commitment to exceptional service and results.

Originally from the East Coast, I still remember my very first glimpse of the Pacific Ocean in Curry County—a moment that confirmed I had found my forever home. To this day, one of my favorite activities is sharing the beauty of our coastline with visitors, especially hiking Cape Sebastian, one of the true gems of the region.

My husband, Les, a custom ukulele and guitar builder, and I raised our two daughters in Pistol River, where they both graduated with honors. Our family remains deeply rooted in this community—our oldest daughter is an ER nurse at our local hospital, and our youngest serves as a firefighter with the US Forest Service.

Community involvement has always been central to my life. I’ve had the privilege of serving as an elected member of the Central Curry School District Board, volunteering on the Budget Committee, and contributing as a Board Member of the Curry Health District. I currently volunteer with the Curry Health Foundation.

Together, Les and I founded the Pistol River Concert Association, which has brought high-quality musical performances to our area for over twenty years. I’ve also served as President of the Rotary Club of Gold Beach and continue to support its mission as a Board Member.

In 2007, I was deeply honored to be named Gold Beach Citizen of the Year.

With a background that includes twelve years in Visitor Information with the Forest Service, I genuinely enjoy helping people discover not just a home, but a lifestyle and community they’ll love.
