Hi, there! I'm Rachel Crittenden, and you can say that I've been in the real estate business since 1994, when my mom became an agent and I, at three years old, became her unofficial assistant. Or, her official shadow, anyway—not a showing or a listing appointment passed by without some element of my presence. I learned quickly not to comment on strange smells or room sizes, and the word contingency became my favorite by age five.
Fast-forward to 2021, when I decided to get a license of my own. Before it even arrived in the mail, a couple walked into the Century 21 Alliance Realty Group office in Rhinebeck, NY in search of land on which to build their second home, and, within a day, we found it! I remained a part-time agent as I worked, primarily, in design, branding, and account management at a specialties advertising and marketing company. In May 2023, I decided to step away from the latter and, instead, pursue a full-time career in real estate. Since doing so, I've helped buyers and tenants alike find and secure their dream homes and apartments, I've taken my own exclusive listing, and I've (now officially) attended many a listing and showing appointment with my mom, who is, nearly thirty years later, my 24/7 mentor, a Top Producer, and a very active and seasoned pro.
In short, I love the Hudson Valley, I love my home, and I would love to help you, your friends, and/or your family members buy/sell your/their own.
