Velma Johnson

Velma Johnson is a lifelong Mississippi Gulf Coast resident and proud Gulfport native with a strong passion for service. A retired educator with 26 years of experience including 15 years as Director of Federal Programs. She holds a Master’s in Educational Leadership and a Bachelor’s of Science from the University of South Alabama.
Since 2019, Velma has been a dedicated REALTOR®, known for her patience, professionalism, and commitment to helping buyers, sellers, and investors across the Gulf Coast. She brings the same integrity and work ethic to real estate that defined her education career.
Deeply involved in her community, Velma is a church youth leader, Leadership Gulf Coast graduate, board member of United Way of South Mississippi, life member of the Junior Auxiliary of Gulfport, and past president of the Kiwanis Club of Gulfport.
